My husband and I had Saturday lunch here. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, and they were all fresh, fragrant and delicious! The meals were brought out quickly, the waitress was friendly and polite, and we left with full happy bellies. Thank you for your service and we will be back! ๐
My partner and I just got back from Indonesia, and Iโve been craving authentic flavours ever since. While this isnโt Indonesian, Thai food was high on my list and this place did not disappoint! You know youโve found the right spot when you see Thai customers exchanging words with the staff in their mother tongue, and a line up out the door when you leave. The food definitely had great flavour. Weโll be back. Yum!
Got the Had Yai fried chicken, pla tod nam pla (deep fried barramundi), kua kling (stir fried mince) and a Thai milk tea. Dishes were all tasty, well portioned and priced reasonably, Leaving a 4* as i'm likely to return.
We had the red curry and the ka prow, along with an entrรฉe-sized tom yum vegetable soup. The tom yum was quite sour for our taste, which we werenโt huge fans of, but we still appreciated the generous portion size for an entrรฉe. The other dishes were tastyโI especially enjoyed the ka prow with beef. The curry was a bit heavily seasoned for my liking, but still flavorful. The place itself is quite small and compact, so it felt best suited for groups of up to four people.
Tucked away in a corner of Davis Ave. A few minutes walking distance from the South yarra station lies this restaurant. It's a small restaurant which was quite packed so reservation is a must. They seemed to attract crowds of mostly friends and groups and had a chill vibe to it. The food is going to be the sole reason why you would want to come back honestly. I immersed myself in the process of enjoying every dish I ate. This was the first time I ate betel leaf in a dish and liked it. The spice in the chilli beef just complemented the mild green curry. Of course, every sip of the iced lemon tea also helped! Do keep it mind that it's a bit expensive compared to the portion because of the location. However, the taste might make it worth it.
