Masala Theory - Bondi Beach
UG04 - The Hub, 75/79 Hall St, Bondi Beach NSW 2026, Australia
About
The appetizers were very innovative - good fusion รญndian good which is hard to find. In comparison, main course dishes are more typical Indian dishes but done very well. I thought the description of dishes could be better - for example the barramundi is pretty much a Kerala fish moilee type curry. The paneer fenugreek dish is also pretty much paneer tikka masala. Service was very good - I asked for extra lemon wedges for the fish curry since I like it sour and they were happy to oblige. Masala T

Brilliant food. Amazing atmosphere, lovely staff. Would love if more people knew about this place as itโs such a good food spot for Bondi
Masala Theory never disappoints! We tried the Bondi location for the first time and were blown away by the taste, presentation and service! The Indian green curry and entrees (especially Thecha Paneer Tikka and bang-bang gobhi) were amazing, and the mocktails were top-notch. Loved the quirky decor and upbeat vibe..it literally felt like a mini trip to India. Highly recommend!
The staff in here were so lovely! One lady in particular who served us was a pleasure to be around and the reason I like to come back to places due to such tentative people. Food was also absolutely delicious !
A great place in Bondi for Neo Indian food! Definitely get the mango and cardamom lassi. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and freshness from the mango and the cardamom was nice and fragrant. The curry bombs were so fun crunching into the puri to get the saucy curry. They truly exploded with flavour! The dosa onion rings were thick and seasoned well with spices. I loved dipping them into the coconut pachadi! The paneer & fenugreek masala was my favourite. For a mild curry, it packed a lot of flavour, including smoky and sweet notes from the fenugreek. The paneer cubes were also soft and crumbled so nicely into the curry. Iโd 100% get it again.
