Lovely food and atmosphere in an unassuming Japanese place which seems small at first glance, but opens up in the back for a larger dining experience. Onigiri was tasty, with very crispy nori. Don bowls sets were great, not too much food. And mochi dessert was amazing. Would definitely visit again.

A decent restaurant. Atmosphere is nice. Went there for lunch, waiting time was reasonably short, service was good. Now about the most important part: the food. Food is well presented. Portion is on the smaller side. Taste… to be honest there’s nothing wrong with the taste, they’re alright. It’s just… for each price level, people sort of have some level of expectation. Their food came underwhelming for the price range they’re asking. Again, they’re not bad, I’ve tasted much better and much worse food, they’re simply not meeting the level I was expecting for the price level. If their main menus are roughly $5 to $8 cheaper, I would have rated this place differently. Their genmaicha was great though, that’s one order that didn’t feel underwhelming.

I went here because I love the coconut bloom and I’ve been to the cafe way too many times…. I’m still obsessed with it, and the meal was amazing. Sashimi was top notch. Atmosphere was warm and cozy, good for solo meals and group sessions. I’ll keep coming back here and the cafe for sure!

Nice ambience and good portion of food. Staff are friendly. We waited 10-15 mins for a table on a Saturday. We ordered: ✅ Wagyu Sukiyaki Set Meal ✅ Pork Chasu Set Meal ✅ Coconut bloom - best coconut matcha I’ve had. Has a hint if jasmine flavour which I really enjoyed

One of the best experiences I’ve had in Melbourne! The food was SO GOOD that I could cry 🥹 We had the Waygu bowl and the Chicken Katsu, Butter garlic butter bread and matcha latte. I can’t wait to come back! The ambiance was so so lovely, cozy & warm. And the service was amazing, our waitress was so sweet and kind.
