Small local restaurant in Castle Cove. Don't get confused with the same name restaurant in Cairns. Easy street parking. Well attended in a cold winter Saturday night. Attentive but not intrusive service. Reasonable prices. BYO price listed as $3.50 on drinks menu, but $4.00 on food menu? Also licenced. Very good food. Standout dishes were the betel leaf entree, salt and pepper squid, crying Tiger beef salad (very tender and tasty), Choo Chee Barramundi. Serving sizes ok but not large; 3 entrees and 3 mains and rice just right for us two couples. Only real downside: unbearably noisy. Small space, lots of people, hard surfaces. Escalation of talking as everyone tries to be heard. Perhaps some soft music playing, soft furnishings, a wall rug would help dampen the sound. Maybe next time we'll get take away, or home delivery (fee to local areas reasonable price.) Or the small outdoor area in summer.

We have been coming here after my kid's piano classes on Saturdays. We love the food, staff and the place. Their lunch menu is perfect for a simple not so heavy lunch which is really delicious and also budget friendly. Definitely recommend this place!

When we arrived in Cairns we just had Thai food in this restaurant we glad searched right place to have our meal. Big portions and kind services and tasty food 😋 Will definitely visit again if we visit again

The food here super delicious and the Fried Ice Cream is just perfect! Super friendly staff too! I don't usually write a review but this restaurant deserve one! Will definitely come back!
