We ordered the momo platter to try four different styles of cooked momos, and it was a really interesting experience. The other dishes we tried were just okay.

First time Nepalese cuisine! Nice experience. Food cooked in a way I never tried.

My wife and I drove nearly 50 minutes to try this place after seeing all the positive reviews, but it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Nepali restaurant. I ordered the chicken khana set, which didn’t come with the usual sides you’d expect from any Nepali thali. The daal was way too salty, and even though I tried to enjoy it, it was hard to eat. I specifically asked them not to give me dessert so it wouldn’t go to waste — but they didn’t deduct even a single cent from the price for removing it. Yet they had the audacity to charge me $6 extra just for a small amount of extra rice and salty daal. At any Nepali restaurants, refills like rice, daal, achar and sides are usually included in the set. My wife asked for Kothey momo, and surprisingly, none of the staff knew what it was. She had to show them a photo and explain it. What they ended up serving wasn’t even close—it looked more like turmeric momo than Kothey. They also served pani puri water in a metal bowl normally used for curry or daal, which just felt lazy and unprofessional. The one positive part of our visit was the waitress. She was warm, lovely, and genuinely tried her best to make us feel welcome. She even apologized for forgetting one of our orders, which we really appreciated—it wasn’t a big deal, and her kind attitude stood out. Overall, though, the food and authenticity just didn’t meet expectations. I honestly don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews. If you’re running a Nepali restaurant, please make sure the basics are right.
