Consider this matter seriously ❌❌ This restaurant has worst dinner buffet in Melbourne Let me start the story from very beginning On 20th Saturday I called one of your staff and booked a reservation for 4 people at 7.00pm Then we went your restaurant on time and 1st impression is not good at all because one girl came and put a water containers with 4 different glasses, from that, we could be able to guess how things going on this restaurant. And we had huge regret why we stay there by expecting good outcome. Then, they asked us to order some drinks, so we ordered our preferences and, however they need a watermelon for some mocktail, since it is not available , they make a drink which they want us to drink, sadly that one can't even take to our mouth. Then, girl with long hair, told us buffet will be ready in 15 minutes, but it take around 1 hour. May be that girl have difficulty with the maths or something. She should have informed us at the very beginning so we could able to fix our plans, because we came to city with other plans as well. My trigger moment is the girl I mention above asked us to pay our dinner buffet despite keeping us wait for 1 hour. Do you consider your customers as thieves. Ashamed of you!!! Somehow buffet was ready by 8.00pm and that girl did not bother to tell us buffet is ready. Here comes the climax After waiting 1 hour this buffet have only fried rice,kottu, chicken curry, chicken devilled, potato curry and string hoppers and as a side dishes coconut sambal and chilli paste. Are we look like beggers to you, huh??? No meat options, no rice options, no desserts, no cutleries. WOW !!! First I suggest you to go and see "Berwick Ambula, Cinnamon Gate and other sri lankan restaurant's dinner buffet" Then you will realise what your so called dinner buffet impression. When we asked for the cutlery, that girl gave us soup spoons to have our dinner. Isn't it funny? Look This dinner is not an ordinary one for us, this is a treat for our special friends, so your irresponsible, cheap restaurant completely spoiled it for us and charge us for $170. Dinner buffet for 4 people = $120 2 Cocktails =$34 2 Mocktails =$16 You tell me what are we gonna do now, how you gonna fix this. I really need a fair decision for us. Because I don't let someone to screw me. Good things Food was good 3/5 And that girl gave us a cocktail instead of that wrong mocktail. That's it Disappointment -1000/10 New update 26/12/2025 According to their reply, they refund my full payment and Mr.Kasun handle the situation in a good way. Hope those mistakes won't happend again.
